Globalistics

Globalistics is a 10 piece orchestra representing 8 different nationalities (Senegal, Turkey, Netherlands, Uiguristan, Germany, Yugoslavia, Morocco and Iran). If this doesn't qualify as world music, what does? Besides vocals, instruments played on this album include violin, ghijak, flute, clarinet, ud,bass, bansuri and ghatam. This is the Global Village Orchestra's first CD and was originally released in The Netherlands by Loplop Records and now by Random Chance in North America.
