Pum'kin Diaries

Jazz flute player Mark Alban Lotz leads the Amsterdam based quartet Lotz of Music. This is the first release by a US label for the band. They have previously released CDs for the European music audience on the Lop Lop label in Holland, and have done a lot of recording in Havana with Cuban musicians.

Pum'kin Diaries escapes classification ranging from alternative/free jazz to classical elements, hip-hop, be-bop and just really interesting, beautiful global music. The 12 tracks include compositons by Lotz, Ornette Coleman, A.C. Jobim, and Bob Dylan.
